Introduction

In our Vancouver Junior Camps, hikes and suspension bridges, shopping trips, museums, amusement parks and waterslides all await you!

Stay with a supportive homestay family and learn English at our modern campus, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver close to the Pacific Centre shopping mall, the Vancouver Art Gallery and more.  ILSC-Vancouver offers an amazing Junior Camp program option during the summer.  Enjoy a cultural and English immersion experience at ILSC. 

Our Junior camp follows our standard junior package program schedule with 5 days per week of morning English study, and 5 afternoon activities. On Saturday, students enjoy a full-day trip.

LIVE

Students experience local culture by staying with an ILSC homestay family. Accommodations: Single 

Bathrooms: Shared

Average Travel Distance from Homestay to Campus: 50 minutes or less 

Estimated Public Transport Fees: $45/week 

Meals: 3 meals per day 

All of our homestay families provide our young students with detailed instructions on how to travel from the homestay to our downtown ILSC locations. Students also receive a 24- hour emergency phone contact should they require additional support. 

LEARN

Classes take place at our downtown ILSC campus location. 

Number of Language Levels: 5 

Number of Lessons: 17 (15 hr/week) 

Number of Student per Class: 16 max 

Content: Academic reading, grammar, vocabulary, essay writing, speaking and listening 

Certificate: End of course certificate and student progress reports provided

Day-only options are available for students who may be residing with family in Vancouver. This option includes English language lessons and activity programming. Please enquire regarding pricing for this course option.

EXPLORE

Students enjoy a social program that combines afternoon activities with a full-day excursion every week. 

Afternoon Programming: Students enjoy activities that include visits to local attractions, sports and games. 

Weekend Activities: Students enjoy a full-day excursion on Saturday. On Sunday, they spend the day with their homestay family.
