A two weeks long summer camp will be hosted at White Academy Christian Academy, an excellent private school with a long history. They provide courses from kindergarten to 12th grade. During the North American Culture Camp, students will take classes in English reading, writing, speech, debate, research, leadership, PE etc., which are all taught by secondary school teachers. In addition, the school will take students to visit attractions in and around Vancouver, such as Whistler and Victoria.
This is a summer camp that you could live just like a local secondary student! You live with a local family and go to the local school. While you study and live in White Rock, you will immerse yourself into North American Culture.
Most courses are English language arts related classes taught by real secondary student teachers. Not only your speaking, listening, reading, writing skills will be improved, but your academic English ability will be improved dramatically with debating, conversation, leadership training.
White Rock Christian Academy values its sports tradition. Besides taking classes in the classroom, students will have PE classes and sports matches to experience North American sports spirit.
