Our award-winning, interactive programs reach more than 1.1 million people each year – in their communities, classrooms, and on our campus.

Highlights & Schedule

Camps run from 8:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. daily.

January 2-4 at Pacific Science Center

Young Entrepreneurs (Grades 4-5)

Calling all future CEOs! Experience first-hand the challenges and triumphs of starting and managing a business. Engage in creative problem-solving, product testing and team building to run a holiday hot cocoa stand! Once you’ve experimented to find your perfect recipe, develop a business plan to present to a panel of potential investors. Discover how to develop a budget, set goals and recognize opportunities in this rare look into a startup company.

Imaginopolis – Board Game Creations (Grades 6-8)

Imaginopolis, the land that lies within each of our minds and hearts, will come to life in this camp. Each day, explore a variety of board games that will help you to understand how to make rules, characters, resources and interactions. Use probability and logic to affect each individual outcome within the game, then develop a strategy to win. Combine all this information with your favorite ideas, lands and schemes to design your very own game. At the end of the week, take home your creation to play with friends and family.

January 2-4 at Mercer Slough (Bellevue)

Hidden Bears and Snowshoe Hares (Grades 2-3)

How do animals survive the winter? Examine animals’ wintry adaptations as you conduct weather experiments and search for signs of hidden animals. Explore seasonal art and poetry as you learn about how animals stay warm, find food and escape from predators in this exploration into the wintry world of animal adaptations.

Winter’s Notebook (Grades 4-5)

Don your gloves and scarf to follow in the footsteps of Muir and Audubon as you hike trails with your journal in hand. Sketch and describe the plants and animals you find as you fill your notebook with observations of the winter wetland environment. Then, adventure into the abstract! Use lines, shapes, colors and values to express the artistic side of nature around you.

Morning and afternoon extended day care are available at both locations. Morning care runs from 7-8:45 a.m. and afternoon care runs from 3:30-6 p.m.
