Hats Off Day Festival (All Ages)

Hats Off Day is celebrating its 35th year with a Heights Superhero theme. Burnaby Heights Merchants are taking their hats off to their customers and community in a huge, one-day extravaganza and community appreciation day. There will be the annual parade, followed by a street partyfeaturing live music, street performers, sidewalk sales, raffles, kids activities, food and a vintage car show.

Michaels Kids Club: Weekly Crafting Fun (3+)

Did you know you can shop and have your kids entertained at the same time? Each Saturday, you can sign up your little one (ages 3 & up) for a 30 minute crafting class. Parents are required to remain on the premises.

Saturday: Paint a mason jar to look like your favorite fruit — it’ll look almost sweet enough to eat! Buy the mason jar, and the supplies to decorate it will be provided.

Sunday: Its ALL FREE, even the supplies! Kids 3 and up can enjoy creating a toad house .

World Vision’s Global 6k for Water

(All Ages)

Provide clean, life-changing water to children in need. The 6km represents the average distance a child in Africa must walk every day to find water! Water that makes them sick.  Last year, 49,000 people from over 20 countries united to walk or run 6km and provide clean water to 64,000 children. We have everything needed to make this an easy and memorable experience.
