ClassTop provides instructors with desk-top
software that seamlessly integrates with higher
education learning management systems (LMSs).
By providing client-side software teachers
have the luxury of working offline and then
synchronizing their work later when connected
to the internet. Files or complete folders
can be moved into ClassTop through a simple
drag-and-drop function, these files are then
synchronized into the correct areas of the
LMS. Instructors can now effortlessly gain
greater functionality from their LMS and students

course content without being connected. Once

What’s
New – Single Sign-On
The “What’s New” view in
ClassTop automatically feeds you information
on any new activity inside the LMS. What’s
New allows you to know if new messages have
arrived, new discussion board postings are
up, or if assignments have been turned in.
Instructors are provided detailed links to
the new event with single-click access to
the respective content inside the LMS. Instructors
no longer have to waste time logging into
different areas of their LMS to see if anything
new has happened.

Announcement
Integration
ClassTop integrates with the announcement
feature of the learning management system.
With this feature instructors can easily post,
edit, or delete announcements for all their
classes from their ClassTop.

Simple
Start
ClassTop allows instructors to get started
within minutes after installing. Whether you
install ClassTop in the middle of the semester
or at the beginning, your current courses
are automatically mirrored in ClassTop via
a synchronize function with the LMS. With
two-way sync, existing course shells are automatically
pulled down into ClassTop along with any existing
course material. As new content is added to
ClassTop it is pushed to the LMS.
