This will take you to the Announcements page. The top half of the page lists your Posted Announcements. |
| Step 2: Select Course |

All active courses will be displayed as buttons at the top of the window. Select the course for which you want to view announcements.
Select System to see announcements posted by the school System Administrator. |
| Step 3: Add Subject, Description and Display Dates |

Enter a subject for the announcement in the Subject field. |

Enter a description in the Text field.
The text can be typed in the field or copied from another
application. Text copied from Microsoft Word will retain its formatting, as will html text.

| Select a Date and Time range during which the announcement
will be visible to students. |

You can create a “Permanent” announcement using ClassTop by unchecking the default Display After date and leaving the Display Until date unchecked.
If you do not select a date and time range, ClassTop defaults to today’s date for the start date (Display After) and end date (Display Until).
Once an announcement is in Posted Announcements it can be copied to other courses. Using the left mouse button, select the announcement, drag it to a course button and drop it in that course’s Posted Announcements. |
